Islamic Banking and Finance Conferences and Events

Annual International Economic Summit, held in Kazan, is deservedly a

reliable platform for connection of economic interests of the Russian

Federation and the leading Muslim world countries. The event is being

organized by Islamic Business and Finance Development Foundation (IBFD

Foundation), with the assistance of Tatarstan Republic goverment.

The main task of KAZANSUMMIT is the development of international economic

relations between Russia and the Muslim world, establishment of cooperation

in the field of direct investment, promotion relations between the

participants of business activity in Russia, the CIS, South-East Asia and

the Middle East.

These days KAZANSUMMIT 2011 will bring together international investors,

executives of leading financial institutions, businessmen and the elite

business community, representatives of legislative and executive

authorities of the Russian Federation, regional leaders, experts and

scholars.

The main activities of KAZANSUMMIT are: strategic forum (the state as a

regulator), investment forum (interaction of business communities of the

Russian Federation and the Muslim world), conference on Islamic economics

and finance (theoretical aspects of the industry), round table of the

central banks of Muslim countries and the Russian Federation.
