Yes, Zakat is an Islamic charity that the company has to pay on behalf of the insured and the profit earned. This amount per person is deducted from their individual accounts. It is an integral part of Islamic insurance that every firm has to pay.

Zakat is an Islamic term for charity that the firm pays when it is accumulated. The firm pays Zakat on behalf of the Insured person and initially the amount is deducted from the persons account.
