Yes, the growth of Takaful has been very impressive over the years. It has been introduced in Pakistan recently and the first company of Islamic insurance was established in Sudan in the year 1979. Since then, Takaful has been growing constantly and now it has been established in more than 20 countries. The growth rate of Takaful is nearly double compared to conventional insurance companies.
